Alex Anton Photography is my passion and has been for 35 plus years. My career in photography has allowed me to travel, meet some of the most interesting people and see things I could never have before,and his cutting edge professional photographic experience in architectural locations, commercial beauty, editorial, and advertising photography has made him a most sucessful artist.
He currently works out of his studio, with the latest digital cameras, lens and software in his new location in Portland Maine
Alex was a longtime film photographer, having used a wide variety of film formats and lenses including 35mm, 4x5, 5x7 and 8x10 view cameras, and 645, 6x6, 6x7, roll film cameras, with countless hours of darkroom work, but in the year 2000 he went totally-digital with the Canon camera system and their professional lens.
His images can be found on countless magazine covers and advertisements, marketing campaigns, commercial web site, music cds, and health-care billboards and brochures. He is also one of the founders of The Visual Foundation, teaching workshops at the Noyes Museum for up and coming young photographers, and is a advisor/board menber of ART-C and guest workshop instructor at Stockton Sate College for PHOTO 2013 SJ.
Alex also offers in-depth photographic guidance both private and in his studio, shooting styles, lighting, Adobe Photoshop and Light room seminars.
He is in the process of publishing his first coffee table book titled, 35 years, people, places and things.
